Those boots like the Lesser Temporal Manteau are cheap and very good for how easy you can get them. You can keep them even during end game tier. As for the enchant, get Fighting Spirit as the first one and you can get either Hawk Eye, Lucky Day or Bear's Power as a special enchant. Why Lucky Day and Hawk Eye&nbsp;? Because of the Solar, Lunar and Stellar Protection to increase their effects and just those do also increase ATK (not as much as STR) but they are much easier to proc too when you're using Heat Skills especially.

I didn't tested them, but I believe Revised Boots are better to use depending on how much ATK you have tho. But you'll need at least 1k ATK to do the same effect as the Revised Boots (ATK+50 at 120 base STR) so they aren't as good as you think.

That is if we're talking about the item only, how about the enchant&nbsp;? Compared to Bear's Power, the Overpower enchant on those can be proc by ATTACKING instead of getting damage lmao. An increase of STR+50 and ATK+15% who can be proc everytime you're attacking is way better. Also you can get FCT enchant on those so it is very convenient for Moon Build.

  Hello there :). Today I will be talking about Star Emperor because it is a class that is not very well known in Limit right now when it has a lot of potential compared to what people think (since the meta is the actual SS ranger, no wonder no one are playing Star Emperor but i'll try to get your attention and make you wanna try the class at least *maybe*). I'll be covering every Star Emperor builds I know which are the Solar Burst, Moon Kick and Falling Star builds (but for the last two we're missing some very important weapons which are respectively the Safety Manual and the Sloth Book who'll take quite a time to comes out lol)

Overview

  • Star Emperor are a bit tricky to play at the beginning; But i'll try to do my best to make it as easy as i can to understand.
  • You'll have to learn how to proc Miracle if you want to play Star Emperor but also learn about how to use map effects and the corresponding skills with it.
  • Aside of those, Star Emperor got some cool "moving skill" like Running, Leap or even Flying Side Kick that can be used on a monster. They also got access to every element thanks to Mild Wind.

Star Emperor Calendar & Miracle

Before talking about the pros & cons of this class, i'll explain first what is Miracle and how does the Star Emperor's skills works depending on the calendar.

  • What's Miracle ? Miracle is an unique skill dedicated to Star Emperor. It has a very low chance to proc while attacking a monster. When it procs it activates every map effects.
  • Depending on the actual calendar, you can use specific skills from the Star Gladiator skill tree :
    • If it's an even day, you can use "Solar, Lunar and Stellar Perception" skill lv1 to designate your current map as a Solar map,
    • An odd day will allow you to use the lv2 and designate the map as a Lunar map,
    • Lastly, to use the lv3 the day has to be a multiple of 5 so you can assigned the map as a Stellar one (you can associate a Perception 1 to 3 and 2 to 3 depending on the multiple of 5 if it's a 5 or 0)
    • Those things are what we called the map effects. They can only be used once and depending on which assignment you did, you'll be able to use specific skills (if you assigned a map as a Solar one, you'll be able to use Solar Heat, Solar Protection for example).
  • To proc Miracle easier, you'll have to use the corresponding Heat Skill (Solar Heat / Lunar Heat / Stellar Heat from the Star Gladiator skill tree) and block a monster onto a corner or a wall (so you'll be constantly hitting him)
    • So it means using the corresponding Solar, Lunar and Stellar Perception first into the correct Heat Skill and do the process
  • To know if you proc Miracle, there's different ways : 
    • Either you just notice your damage going higher,
    • You notice that your screen turned a bit blue (like receiving a Soul Link Buff),
    • You notice the Buff Icon on the right (Miracle's icon looks like a Soul Link Buff but they are different) that last for a one full hour
  • Once you proc Miracle, as I said earlier you'll activate every map effects which means, for one hour you'll be able to use any Solar/Lunar/Stellar skill as much as you wish while increasing your damage drastically ! (pretty neat huh)
  • The effect of Miracle wores off if you change map or die too so be careful.
  • Some of you might wonder "Why does Miracle increase all of your damage ?" and it is because of those Wrath Passive Skills (Solar / Lunar / Stellar Wrath) who are activated too when you're under Miracle.
    • I won't explain that part of how those works because it's a bit hard to explain and i might miss something because each Wrath Skills are actually procing three times on every mosnters or something like that...
  • That's what you have to know about Star Emperor before playing it ! If you want to re-use those Perception skills in an other map, you can use the skill "Document of Sun Moon and Star" from the Star Emperor skill tree to reset every Perception you did.

 

Pros & Cons

Pros : 

  • Every build of Star Emperor (Solar Burst, Moon Kick or Falling Star) can be viable in PVM but the most powerful one is the Solar Burst build.
  • It is a very friendly-newbie class because of Miracle since it allows you to reach high damage without much equipments.
  • The access of every elements.
  • Solar, Lunar and Stellar Protection are very useful buffs that can have their effects increased depending on your base DEX and LUK stats.

Cons :

  • Melee class and reflect.
  • In every skill build, you'll have to do a first "prerequisite" skill before doing the main one which is time loosing.
  • You'll have to constantly adapt the map effect at first since you'll have to proc Miracle which can be a hassle sometimes.

Stats & Skills

Stats

Depending on how much base DEX and LUK you have, Star Emperor can hit 193 ASPD without a single in AGI thanks to their buff Stellar Protection. If you want to change stats, just put all of your STR, VIT, INT, DEX, LUK, first and then use Stellar Protection with Miracle or just the Stellar Perception and see how much base AGI you need to fill up the ASPD (if you still need some which is my case, i need 22 AGI since i don't have a +7 Taekwon Shadow Weapon yet).

My stats at level 200 :

Note : You aren't obligated to get multiple build skill tree like me (since I have moon and solar maximized and a bit of stellar). It's just Moon Kick is very useful to clean waves of monsters while Solar Burst is the main DPS. As for Falling Star it's just an additionnal buff on the right lool. You can either get PVP skills (why not ? But in PVP it's like impossible to proc Miracle so impossible to deal damage with the main skills except if you play Normal BG where you can use Star Emp shadows and deal a lot with Moon Kick) or get the Stances skill from the 1st tree to get more buffs /heh.

Equipment

Since I said i'll be covering every builds I know, there'll be 3 parts of equipment. If some aren't shown (if i'm not showing the Armor required for the Moon and Stellar build) it's because they use the same as the Solar Burst which is the referenced build.  If I'm adding new items to an other build than Solar, it doesn't mean those are the best for that build but just a new alternative.

The White one is way easier on every aspect when the Tiger King is the exact contrary but if i'm not wrong, the Tiger King is giving a higher bonus of ATK compared of the White Tiger with a lower proc chance.

Transforms into Grim Reaper Ankou for 5 seconds when using First Aid.

It's kinda working the same way as Violent Coelacanth, with a high refine headgear, you'll get a huge bonus of Weapon ATK (in this case tho, it's when you're being under attack and not permanently having the bonus) but the bonus given is way bigger than Violent Card one.

The YSF armor gives an enormous boost of damage by itself. A bonus of 27% weapon ATK iirc at +16, is a lot for a single armor. But for the cost of it and effort put in to get it +16, there's definitely better armor to use.

About the enchant, I won't cover the first two enchants you can get but only the most interesting, the strongest which is the DEF or MDEF pierce on Boss (for us it'll be DEF of course) up to 60% which is enough for you to remove Thanatos Card and put a Blacksmith Gloves to complete the 40% left.

Those boots like the Lesser Temporal Manteau are cheap and very good for how easy you can get them. You can keep them even during end game tier. As for the enchant, get Fighting Spirit as the first one and you can get either Hawk Eye, Lucky Day or Bear's Power as a special enchant. Why Lucky Day and Hawk Eye ? Because of the Solar, Lunar and Stellar Protection to increase their effects and just those do also increase ATK (not as much as STR) but they are much easier to proc too when you're using Heat Skills especially.

I didn't tested them, but I believe Revised Boots are better to use depending on how much ATK you have tho. But you'll need at least 1k ATK to do the same effect as the Revised Boots (ATK+50 at 120 base STR) so they aren't as good as you think.

That is if we're talking about the item only, how about the enchant ? Compared to Bear's Power, the Overpower enchant on those can be proc by ATTACKING instead of getting damage lmao. An increase of STR+50 and ATK+15% who can be proc everytime you're attacking is way better. Also you can get FCT enchant on those so it is very convenient for Moon Build.
