Silk WoE new balance

Hi.

Since there are more and more skill rebalances from kRO that makes skills OP.

I would like to open up a new suggestion to disable certain skills in Silk WoE to maintain the fun of Silk WoE.

What skills do you think needs to be banned from Silk?

Note: The skill should at least be OP, for example 1 skill and 10 ppl dead.. something like that.

You can just make the skill work differently on a certain map. No need to disable.

Decrease the effectiveness of crit damage on skills that crits by 50%, or simply disable the crit part and make it use the old formula. The same goes for comet, disable the debuff. For frosty misty, you just need to take a look at its AoE and formula, it does more than intended.

Disabling skills in WoE is really not the way to go, IMHO. Just my 2 cents.

or is it possible to do a custom nerf solely for SILK? lets say retaining the previous skill effects pre-rework? cause cases like Comet, its not that OP if u remove the debuff part
or or reduce the dmg of those OP skills rather than banning them?

What do you guys think of increasing WoE reductions instead? It'll be easier for the dev to edit that right? like just changing some numbers?

I'm more keen on reverting back to pre-rework Silk WoE, I'm unsure how it'll work in implementing it specifically on Silk castles. But seems like readjusting rework meta (i.e. disabling/nerfing specific skills) would make it even more complicated.

To be perfectly honest, I don't see disabling skills just for silk would be the "fix" we are looking for.

re: skills that 1 hit 10 people has a lot of precedence to it..

a stack that is unprepared on what will hit them can be 1 shotted with

Arrow Storm
Dragon's breath
Ignition break
Tetra Vortex (with the right element)
Comet
Crimson Rock
Varetyr spear
Fire Expansion 5
Suicidal Destruction of mech (with 5-min CD)
Tiger cannon (full buffed)
and etc etc..

every skill has a counter, you just need to know and adjust accordingly.

Just allow reduction equips more for silk, prontera militia glove for example. Can get extra 6% which will make things different. Protect feather for mid gear replacing blush of groom. Etc.

roll back all changes only for Silk custom WOE
make at least -50% damages after new balancing
increase Woe redux as it self, to decrease incoming damages

P.S REMOVE 1.0 WOE, for Renewal its just unplayable and boring

+1 on this. also can we make it 1 castle per woe too? not enough population to sustain woe action in both of the castles.

Need to increase damage cut on WoE.

-1 on this. Only certain skills such as CI, SBK, Comet, SB and IB became too strong after rework that it can one shot almost everyone in silk. Increasing overall redux will pretty much kill the damage of other offensive skills that were not listed. Making them unusable in silk woe.

So either change how those skills work for silk. Balance it, not disable. Or just make all skills pre-rework for silk.

Also +1 on removing FE castles. Its just not meant for renewal woe.

If it's more easy change this setings for silk

Damage Adjustment Reduction

  • Short Attack Damage Rate: 0%
  • Long Attack Damage Rate: -15%
  • Weapon Skill Damage Rate: -60%
  • Magic Skill Damage Rate: -40%
  • Misc Skill Damage Rate: -50%

I wonder what other skills this dude consider OP. Well I guess there's really no counter play to deathbound /s

When I ask which skill to disable, I literary mean Which skill to disable.

 

Why nobody answer the question?

 

I don't need other ideas, because all other ideas like

  • "roll back changes" only for silk, wtf is this? It doesnt work like that.
  • "the dmg reduce" only for silk, no it doesnt work either thats for whole WoE.

Please focus on the topic.
