  2. Updated as of Sept 18, 2018 Hi All, DragonSlayerBoy here! Im from Looney Tunes and we love hunting! I often get questions on how to play MVP Genetic sooo here it is! Making this short guide for newbies to learn how to use Genetic- Cart Cannon type. In my opinion, currently genetic would be the best for PVM. I'll keep this short because the best teacher is still practice and trying stuff out yourself. Table Contents: Skill Guide Suggested Items Suggested Stats Usable items 1) SKILL GUIDE (Sorry I don't know how to make those Skill Clickable- Maybe someone can help me hehe) MUST HAVE SKILLS FOR PVM!!! A. Cart Cannon- Level 5- Your bread and butter skill. This is the reason why genetic is OP for PVM B. Acid Demonstration- Level 10- A good to have skill. Makes genetic very versatile in PVM. Good for high HP Boss C. Cart Boost- Level 5- Damn can you imagine a walking genetic? That would suck so bad so get this skill! D. Crazy Weed- Level 10- Traps? No problem. CW destroy all land traps (Ankle Snare, LP, Bombs Pneuma) E. Full Chemical Protect- Level 5- Heard of MVP Stripping your items away? Well, use FCP. F. Call, Rest, Resurrect Homunculus.- Basically for PVM Genetic what you need to get is the Deiter Evolution. This will allow you to use the skill "Pyroclastic". This skill adds huge damage!! *GETTING HOMUNCULUS IS A MUST!!!* GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS A. Axe Mastery- If you are using Dofle Axe [3] or other Axe type as your weapon. B. Slimp Potion Pitcher- If you are going to use Sapphire Wrist [1] as your accessories. C. Thorn Trap- Good for trapping MVP, but if the boss could use teleport skill it will teleport. (Good for instance tho) D. Demonic Fire- You need this for Fire Expansion *Needs Bottle Grenade* E. Fire Expansion- Get level 3, 4, and 5. Very good skill but for advance players. Level 3- Decrease the damage you get from long range and melee. *Needs Smoke Powder* Level 4- Decrease accuracy of enemy. *Needs Tear Gas* Level 5- AoE version of Acid Demonstration *Needs Acid Bottle* F. Loud Exclamation- Additional ATK. Minimal but hey, its free! 2) SUGGESTED ITEMS HEADGEAR Old Midas Whisper [1]- The only headgear you should get. Higher refine more damage. (Every 2 refine increase cart cannon damage by 15% ) Crow Tengu Mask- Combine with Tengu Scroll - best damage so far + life steal. Tengu Scroll- Combine with Crow Tengu Mask - best damage so far + life steal. Sunglasses [1] - Want more card for HG? Go with slotted mid Monocle [1] - Want more card for HG? Go with slotted mid Robo Eye - Cheapest mid that has use. Golden Fish - +2 all stats. - If you are a stats freak why not!! Spiked Scarf- +30 atk, -2% HP Kiel-D-01 Card- MUST HAVE FOR GENE. You need this card to spam cart cannon. Fenrir Card- Want fast cast for AD? Use this. Have good increase for AD damage also. Violent Coelacanth Card- Can give 1% atk per 2 refine. Can be used with high Midas but you need Kiel more ARMOR Robe of Flattery [1]- +140 Matk and enchantable. If you have the money go with this. But you'll have to refine it to +13 to maximize the damage. Cursed Mail [1] - Good Mid-tier armor. Just need to +7 to get bonus. Heroic Light Mail [1]- Good for stats build but needs high refine. Gloom Under Night Card- Increase damage inflicted on Holy Property, Shadow Property, Angel monster and Demon monster by 40%. (Most MVP are demon hehe) Tao Gunka Card- Maximum HP + 100%. DEF - 50, MDEF - 50. If you want to survive more use this. Ktullanux Card - Increases damage against Fire Property monsters by 50%. (Not really needed since very few MVP is fire property) Realized Amdarais Card- ATK + 20%, MATK + 20%. Each 4 seconds lost 666 HP and 66 SP. Drain 6666 HP and 666 SP as the armor is unequipped. Boitata Card- Increase damage inflicted on brute race, insect, wind property, and earth property by 40%. Watcher Card- +30 ATK- The upgraded porcelio card haha! Good for newbies! Very Cheap! WEAPON Valkyrie Hammer [4]- People's choice weapon mainly due to it being 4 slots. Dofle Axe [3]- Good due to Genetic having Axe Mastery. Downsize is due to it being Axe it has size penalty for medium size monster. (Make sure to get the 3 slots) Hurricane Fury [1]- Good damage but you gonna lose shield Needs EA enchant. Mace of Vicious Mind [1]- Really good weapon if you have good enchant and high refine!! Robot's Arm [2]- On high refine, as tested, its not far off from VH with 3WK+TG + with Verus revamp it will become enchantable. Twin Edge of Naght Sieger(R) [3]- Sword Mastery must be learned. Can be enchanted with EA. Downsize is you can't use it with adrenaline rush. Glorious Morning Star- On high refine, good for bio hunting and other demi human. Turtle General Card- Increases damage inflicted on all enemies by 20%. Abyss Knight Card- Increase damage on Boss monster by 25% White Knight Card -ATK +15. Increase damage inflicted on medium and large size monsters by 20%. - I recommend this due to it being low cost! Archer Skeleton Card- +10% Range damage. Very low cost for newbie. Powerful Archer Skeleton Card- The Steroid version of AS card. Give total of 12% range damage if level 100 above. SHIELD Cursed Mad Bunny - The best shield!!! At +12 this shield allows you have uninterrupted cast and +5% atk and +20 atk. Valkyria's Shield [1] - Cheapest shield but very reliable due to good elemental redux. Immune Shield [1]- Good redux! Bijou Card - ATK +10% and can't be frozen! (Switching) Golden Thiefbug Card- Immune to all magic!!! (Switching) Khalitzburg Knight Card- Def +20, Reduce damage from M and L size monster by 25%. Combo card with White Knight Card. Recommended!! GARMENT Golden Wings [1]- Refine to at least +7 and get EA enchant. Currently the best garment you one can get. At +16 this gives a huge huge stats bonus Fallen Angel Wing [1] - Refined to at least +7 and get EA enchant. Mid Tier items Heroic Backpack [1] - Good for balance type. Average attack and def. -> I don't like this personally. But the greed skill is helpful. Menblatt Card- Best card for damage. Randel Card- Get a second garment and use this as switching. Provides Auto Guard Skill. *Very very helpful for mvp-ing* Raydric Card- If you die fast, try getting Raydric for additional neutral redux. SHOES Applause Sandals [1]- Another Must have for Cart Cannon Build. You won't be able to spam cart cannon without this. Amon Ra Card- Combo with Applause Sandals. Must have!! Temporal DEX Boots [1]- Not recommended but if you don't have Applause Sandals I guess this is the best. Low cost Essence of Evil Intelligence Lv3- More int!! ACCESSORIES Pendant of Maelstrom [1]- 6% Atk and Matk, +1 all stats. and its cheap!!! Money's worth! - Good for stats build Essence of Evil Intelligence Lv3- If you can't get insta-cast build this "card" would help! Gold Scaraba Card - +20 ATK Revolver Buffalo Bandit Card- Str+ 4, 4%ATK. Combo card with Shotgun Buffalo Card Shotgun Buffalo Bandit Card Agi+7, Hit +7. Combo card with Revolver Buffalo Card Marine Sphere Card- Enable Magnum Break (Switching) SHADOW EQUIPS Alchemist Shadow Armor- Must have Alchemist Shadow Shoes. Enable Adrenalin Rush!! -USE THIS!!! Alchemist Shadow Shoes- Must have Alchemist Shadow Armor. Enable Adrenalin Rush!! -USE THIS!!! Genetic Shadow Weapon- Don't get this unless you have the whole 6 shadow set. Higher better. DEX-> 80-120 // Get enough to have insta-cast cart cannon LUK-> 30-40 // Luk helps you to increase damage. Every 3 luk= 1 atk. Higher luk more immune to curse. 4) USEABLE ITEMS REGULAR USABLE ITEMS: +20 Foods- Yeahhh more stats= more damage +10 Foods- Yeahhh more stats= more damage Berserk Potion- Increase atkspeed. HP Increase Large Potion- More HP Yggdrasil Berry- When your dying and don't have time to use pots. Click your berry! Full health and SP Yggdrasil Seed- Half the effect of the Yggdrasil Berry. SKILL BASED ITEMS: Cannon Balls- Holy, Shadow, Neutral and Ghost, Get them all because converter doesn't work with gene now Acid Bottle - For AD and Fire Expansion Bottle Grenade- For AD and Demonic Fire Thorny Plant Seed- For Crazy Weed and Thorn Trap. Smoke Powder- Fire Expansion 3 Tear Gas- Fire Expansion 4 Glistening Coat - For Full Chemical Protect. OTHER TIPS: (From @Theodosia) NC off (/nc) - Mistakes happen. NC will minimize the chance of them happening. if you misclick you might get stuck in attacking a mob for long enough to get crowded over. @hold - Same thing. Hold is really good against tanky bosses (well uh, tankier) Thorn Trap is your friend. Makes some bosses like R Amda a cake walk even without a truly OP gear. And use your hom as a damage sponge. He can take a lot of punishment! OKAY GUYS THAT'S IT! HOPE YOU GUYS GET SOMETHING HERE. SEE YOU GUYS IN THE HUNTING FIELD!!!   4. NOTE: Cryan has left the server Cryan's Rebellion Guide Before we start the guide, we need to look at what a Rebellion is. Rebellion is a "Extended 2nd Job Class" not Transcended 2nd Job Class. So you can't equip Transcended 2nd Job Class equipments. Rebellion comes after Gunslinger. [Who doesn't know that?] This class uses ranged weapons specifically Guns. The guns Available for Rebellion are as follows: Revolver Shotgun Rifle Gatling Gun Grenade Launcher Here are the information on each Gun usage: Revolver Revolver is a standard Gunslinger/Rebellion gun to use. It offers faster Attack Speed under the cost of HIT and its low base attacks. Revolvers are a great choice of weapon for starters. Provides great Mobility at Rebellion Skill Tree Shotgun Shotguns provides Huge single target damage and AoE damages. But at the cost of low Attack Speed. Shotguns are mostly used when you reached Rebellion class for the high damages and ability to remove enemy's buffs. Allows high damage output and allows the user to disable enemy's buffs Rifle Rifles provides high HIT and CRIT bonuses. But it is slower than Revolvers by a bit and it has a very limited skill set to use. Rifles are underrated. It is very useful for Rebellion for their small AoE skill that does high amounts of damage. High damage, small AoE. Gatling Gun Gatling Guns are almost the same as Revolvers, but Gunslinger has a skill called "Gatling Fever". With this skill along with some AGI, you can win over Attack Speed part of Revolvers and also outclass Revolver's damage. Gatling Guns are used commonly for Rebellion as it provides high damage output and fast Attack Speed with its buffs. High damage, attack speed. Also has Ground Removal Skill. Grenade Launcher Grenade Launcher is a special gun that does elemental damages because of its special ammunition. It also has a chance to break the enemy's armor at close range. But it does have a very high base Attack stat. It is also slower than Shotguns. Grenade Launcher are rarely used for both Gunslinger and Rebellion. It is quite heavy and slow. It is only used for Dragon Tail in Rebellion but it eats up a lot of skill points in the Gunslinger section, so rarely anyone goes for Dragon Tail skill on Rebellion. Slow, not commonly used. Not recommended to use. Gun's Fun Fact Guns does 100% damage to all monster sizes. It is also two-handed so you can't equip a shield. Skills Rich Coin - Consume 100 zeny to generate 10 coins (10 coins is the max coin stack) Flicker - Activates all Howling Mine and Bound Traps on screen Fallen Angel - Immediately move to the targeted location withing 9 cells from caster. If there is an obstacle between the caster and the target cell, this skill will fail to activate. Within 2 seconds of activation, increase Desperado damage by 100%. Fire Dance - Deals damage to all targets within 5x5 of the caster. Additional damage is dependent on Desperado skill level. Heat Barrel - Increases attack and attack speed temporarily at cost of Hit rate. Last Stand and Platinum Altar cannot be used in conjunction with this skill. Each use consumes all coins. Each coin consume gives 5% off fixed cast time, thus a full stack coin consume will give 50% fixed cast reduction. Shattering Storm - Sprays heavy gunfire into a single target to inflict ranged physical damage to all enemies around the target. It has a chance of breaking enemies' helm. Vanishing Buster - Spreads gunfire into a single target to inflict ranged physical damage to single target. It has a chance of removing enemies' buffs and debuffs. Slug Shot - Shoots a heavy projectile at a single target to inflict devastating ranged physical damage. The accuracy of the shot decreases for every cell after the first 3 cells from the target. Monsters hit by this skill will be stunned. Mass Spiral - Fires a piercing bullet that does additional damage depending on the targets DEF. Inflicts the bleeding status at a high chance. Anti-Material Blast - Fires an immaterial projectile at a single target to inflict massive ranged physical damage. It has a chance of decreasing the target's Demi-human property resistance. Hammer of God - Calls forth the mighty hammer of God to strike down a targeted location. Enemies affected by Crimson Marker in the targeted location will be struck by the hammer, inflicting physical damage to the affected target and all enemies around it. If there is no enemy affected by Crimson Marker in the targeted location, the hammer will drop on a random spot within the targeted location. Enemies struck by this skill will always be stunned. Each use consumes all coins. Eternal Chain - Allows the caster to use Chain Action regardless of equipped weapon for a duration. The level of Eternal Chain affects auto-cast level of Chain Action. Quick Draw Shot - This skill can only be cast after Chain Action is activated to deal additional damage to the target. If the caster uses Flicker, Howling Mine will detonate on the target, dealing the fire damage to the target and all enemies in range. Howling mine can only be detonated with Flicker. If the Howling Mine is not detonated for a certain duration, it will fall off from the target. Dragon Tail - Launches missiles at all targets on the screen that's marked by your Crimson Marker. If there is no target afflicted with Crimson Marker, the skill will fail to activate. Fire Rain - Spreads gunfire forward to inflict ranged physical damage to all enemies in a 3x10 area in front of the user. It has a chance of sweeping ongoing ground skills. Round Trip - Unleash a barrage of gunfire at all targets in range, dealing damage and knocking the affected targets back. If the targets are knocked back into the wall, they will take additional damage. Crimson Marker - Mark a target with Crimson Death Mark, reducing its movement speed by 10% and allows the caster to track the target on the mini-map. Only a maximum of 3 Crimson Markers can be active at a time. Boosts Quick Draw Shot, Dragon Tail and Hammer of God effect. Platinum Altar - This skill can only activate if the caster has equipped Silver Bullet or Purifying Bullet. When activated, consumes all coins to increase ATK. Skill level and the amount of coins consumed affects the ATK increase. Reduces the damage taken from Undead monsters during the skills duration. Cast a holy barrier similar with Kyrie Eleison to support player's defence. Bound Trap - Lay down a powerful movement impairing trap on the ground. All targets that enter the trap's area of effect will have their movement speed slowed significantly. Movement debuff duration is affected by the target's STR. You can equip this and rush into the MVP's face to bound trap them. This can guarantee more survival. But remember to switch back to guns! Also switch different armor when needed! Shadow Equipments: Gunslinger Shadow Weapon Gunslinger Shadow Shield Cheaper Options: Anything that adds Dex & Agi / Attack / Attack Speed Example Gear Set-ups: Newbie Gears This can at least enable you to do some damage to mobs while leveling, and provide mobility when you want to bound trap MVPs. (Sigrun's wings is 10,000,000 zeny at deluxe hat npc at Vending harbour. Its an optional gear.) Ideal Gear -Budget Edition- I managed to reach 175 so far with this set-up and able to do decent damage. I used Academy badge and School bag as the combination effect is very useful. Ideal Gears -Auto Hit Tengu/Skill Rebel fit- This is the set-up for both auto hit or skill rebel builds. If you have applause, use it for skill rebel for extra spamming of skills. Critical Auto Hit This is my current set-up. Because there is no STR stat, the tengu set wont work, but you can still use the ranged attack % increase from the mask. Hammer of God set-up With the recent installment of airship raid cards. It is recommended to get a +10 color scope and add both cards in. Slug Rebellion set-up Do I need to say anymore? Just use the skill and smile at the damage. ^~^ (You can also switch to Revolvers to spam Fire dance/Desperado with this set-up.) Trigger Happy Shot Set-up This is my current end-game equips but catered to Trigger Happy Shot. I'm quite happy with the results so far. [Gears are all example of what it should be, you can improve it however you like.] Hammer Of God Skills: This is to make full use of the entire Rifle Skill sets. Gatling and Revolver are included for mobility and AoE clearing. Slug Rebellion Skills: Making full use of all Shotgun Skills. Extra 7 points, you are free to put whatever you want. Auto hit Rebellion Skills: (Generally Gatling Guns) Madness Canceler is a substitute for Heat Barrel when the buff runs out and its on a short cooldown. Unless you haveRebellion Scarf [1] then you can use the remaining 21 points to add whatever you want. Madness Canceler can also be used to disable Platinum Alter if you want to use Heat Barrel. Critical Auto Hit Skills: This is a complicated tree as learning Dragon Tail is to proc the extra critical damage boost you get fromRebellion Scarf [1]. Thus, with 2 of it, its a total of 30% critical damage increase. You can also try the crimson mark autocast. But I can tell you its a very very low rate of happening, so you can just use Crimson mark on bosses or enemies and just hope for the best. Or just mark a Mado and use Dragon Tail to kill them. Do remember to bring a Grenade Launcher and some Dragon Tail rounds if you feel like it. Madness Canceler here is the same usage as Normal Gatling Gun Auto Hit as you won't be learning Shattering Storm to reduce Heat Barrel's Cooldown. Trigger Happy Skills: The most important factor of this build is to utilize Elite and normal buffalo revolver bandit cards. Trigger Happy shot can be buffed through Platinum Alter and other buff affecting skills/ physical long range or ATK. Leveling Tips It is very easy to level Rebellion. First clear the Academy to earn free levels and get some mercenary scrolls and get the Critical Set for more damage, Agility set is also an option. Use the scrolls to summon the mercenary and level up. You don't need to rebirth as gunslinger so thats a good thing. You get to reach Rebellion faster. After you reach rebellion. Talk to admiral again to receive 9 more free levels. Afterwards, continue farming for some job levels to use Round Trip and Bound Trap. Then you can join IS party to level up even faster. Once you reach high levels, get some normal gears and start farming for Zeny to get good weapons from the Rebellions store, afterwards you can farm easily. Remember to stay safe since Rebellions are not tanky! Rebellion Skill Tips: Always use Rich Coin before using any buffing skills. This ensures the maximum potential of the buff skills. Like example: Rich Coin -> Eternal Chain -> Rich Coin -> Heat Barrel [ Royal Guard Shield Spell Combo ] Equip Royal Guard Shield, Use Spell Shield and in mid-cast, switch to a high DEF shield. This will allow you to gain extra ATK based on the shield's DEF. I currently have Shelter Resistance and it grants me a free 140 ATK for 7 minutes. Use Gatling Fever -> Heat Barrel once you are in range of an MVP. There is no delay after using bound trap, You can use another skill or fallen angel immediately after placing down bound trap. It only doesn't seem to for flicker. Cryan's tips on Rebellion: This guide is purely PVM. For PVP/WoE, you can approach Farlhart in game. I don't have much knowledge about PvP or WoE, but I do have some Minimal knowledge on how to gear and such. And what optimal gears and skills to be used in those areas. As a Rebellion, you need some gym passes to increase your weight limit as you would need to switch equipments to bring out the maximum effectiveness of Rebellion. For example, I am a Auto-hit Crit rebellion. So my Round Trips or other skills will be very weak as I am more Critical focused. Therefore I bring 2 FAWs with me. one for EA and one for Fatal enchants. I also brought both Luk and Dex boots. This way, I switch the boots and Garment when its clearing MVPs or Bosses. Why is there a temporal STR boots? I realized that having more STR & ATK for skill rebel builds will give even more damage but you would also need Hawk Eye enchants. I easily reached 1m Round Trip using Temporal Str, FAW ea enchants and such. Use Bound traps for extremely high MVP hp as auto hitting it will take awhile. Use a revolver to navigate around the MVPs easily. With these news additions come new monsters, tougher versions of previous MVPs, and even stronger new MVPs. The Auto Warg Crit (AWC) Build Ranger is the most suitable build that is up for the task. An End-game level build Auto Warg Crit Ranger can out damage an End-game build Arrow Storm Ranger or an Aim-Bolt Ranger on MVPs with HPs greater than 10 Million, AWC type is the most effective ranger build against these supped-up monsters. AWC Build Ranger Strengths: · High Critical Damage · Auto Warg Strike Attack · Maxed-out Aspd of 193 (7 hits per second) All of these attributes gives out massive DPS (Damage Per Second) This ranger build is a good complement to the Old Camouflage Rabbit Hood [1] which boosts Warg Strike Damage among others as refine rate increases. Can be re-casted to refresh the duration effect. It can be used without any obstacles if the skill level gets higher. At Level 5 – SP consumption per sec. 2 / 100% movement. 5 Active/Buff Unlimit Tap into the power of the God of Hunting and Archery to increase the explosive power of ranged attacks for a short time. Re-using the skill returns the Warg to the wild. 1 Active/Special Warg Rider Allows a Ranger to mount their summoned Wug. Skill level increases movement speed. This gemstone can save a lot of AGI Stat points that you can redistribute to other stats that can boost damage, however if you really want the max damage output then Destruction Level 3 Gemstone + Almighty Level 3 Gemstone would be the best combo option – this is if you can reach max aspd with foods and potions, etc. To get additional boost on your DPS and overall Attack Power: (Atk boost consumables) Box of Resentment Aloevera Distilled Fighting Spirit It’s always nice to have a HP Leech (Hunter Fly or Sniper Cecil MVP Card) and a SP Leech Bow (Dracula Card) they do come handy. A cheap alternative is to have a Thanatos Bow [1] and Rideword Hat [1] combo just in case you would need to leech HP and SP to continue on your quests. Well if you have an RJ Bank or SP Pots then that could also work.   8. Currently Bacsojin Mob ID 1518 spawns in central laboratory (devised it empirically, as 1518 has much lower health than 1630). At no official source describing central laboratory there are any indication that a non-MVP version of the monster should spawn instead of MVP version. Unless there is a specific reason/source for 1518 to spawn instead of 1630 this is probably a bug?

    Melhor classe Solo MVP

    E ai, galera. Eu estou com uma duvida tremenda e que vem me consumindo muito tempo e zeny: qual a classe com melhor custo-beneficio para solar MVPs e fazer instancia ? Eu estava pensando em GX DD Crit ou Genetic e os dois tem o mesmo problema. Ambos precisam de equipamentos extremamente caros e não só isso, depois que você consegue os equipamentos "de corpo" ele ainda tem um gasto bem maior com consumíveis, seja as poções que dão +30 de crit e EDP ou as poções para AD. Então fica ai a dúvida, de qual classe consegueria se sair tão bem quanto essas 2 duas ( ou quase) sem gastar tanto a mais, depois de conseguir equipamentos, ou se não tem, todas tem que gastar horrores com consumiveis e é isso ai.

(similar to Screenshots maybe?). (Could be a small print on the cards preview.) Why do we have to add it? It will lessen people TrashTalking and You will know if people are just relinking items.     Hi, guys. I'm Ne Ranger and i have problems to choose the job i want to play, and this is costing me time and a lot of zeny... I was building a GX DD Crit, but costs like 1b the budget version, further, after you buy all equipments you have to expend a lot of zeny with EDP and Abrasive. Genetic have the same problem. 1b just for begin and a lot of zeny with AD and similars Have some job that can solo MVP and solo instances cheaper and as well as ( or almost) GX and Genetic?
