  1. Disable GTB card in BG2

  2. Topic Name I suggest disabling Golden Thief Bug card in BG2. Character Names: Role Drugstore, Role AD This Describe your suggestion What is this? I believe GTB card is too strong in BG2 setting. Magic classes already have hard time dealing decent damage, and the large amount of GTB cards makes it very hard to play magic classes in BG2, except for few exceptions like Dispel Professor. I think most BG2 players would enjoy this, as it would bring more strategies and tactics to the battleground. I don’t believe this to be a drastic change since magic classes are already very weak in BG2. The only concern I have is Coma, as GTB is one of the only ways to prevent Coma. However I believe Coma is more of a gimmick that is limited to certain situations than actual strategy and disabling GTB shouldn’t be too big of a problem. I’m interested in other players’ opinions.
  3. Sropho card and Crystallization

    Sorry, I phrased it badly. Unfortunately I couldn’t get my hands on any official iRO statements since in iRO the whole card is disabled, but in kRO the timer doesn’t reset while you are in crystallization. This is official behavior. I am not aware if there is a “immunity” to crystallization for x amount of time after you recover, I think that the timer only doesn’t reset if you are in crystallization. Therefore you need to be out of crystallization before you can get hit with the status again, however for this I have no other proof to provide for the moment than what my friend has told me. When the card first came it also worked on boss monsters, but as far as I know this has been fixed on all official servers. In jRO they have the same mechanic, and additionally you take more damage from certain attack’s while in crystallization - for this I will link a video below. Im not sure if kRO or iRO follow this additional/reduced damage mechanic.

  5. Sropho card causes target crystallization. However the timer is not supposed to reset if the target is currently under crystallization. There should be a delay before you can get crystallized again after recovering from the status. Currently in BG 2 you can permanently Crystallize a target if you equip 4-8 sropho cards, as there is no effective counter to Sropho, except not getting hit, which isn't really a counter. Currently reaching 0 SP also cancels the effect, but that was a bug in the original kRO script, and doesn't work in official servers. In other settings standing in Warmer or getting Lauda Ramus from AB helps you recover from the status. https://irowiki.org/wiki/Status_Effects#Crystallization Currently in iRO Sropho card is disabled as they don't have the fix for the card effect kRO apparently already has. By the way, in jRO crystallization makes you take 50% more from lightning, axes, maces and knuckles, and 50% less from swords, daggers and bows, but apparently we don't have that mechanic. Not sure if iRO or kRO follow that.

    By the way, in jRO Applause gives +3 All Stat per refine, instead of per 2 refines we have here. I don’t see problems with the script, but then again I am not too familiar with our game engine. What role do the slashes / have in the script? By the way, is Mavka card currently working correctly? I know Elvira card works, but to me it seems that currently Mavka card adds magic damage against fire and earth targets, instead of increasing Fire and Earth type magic.     Thanks for pointing that out, however I am aware of this. I put a rms link just because it actually shows the eAthena script for reference. As @Venny Venz kindly linked, it should be the same effect on iRO, and in fact it seems that our current formula is (accidentally) custom to our server.

    Are we using a custom script for Bacsojin hat? Shouldnt it be bFixedCast -80ms*getrefine instead of bFixedCastrate? As far as I am aware it should be flat reduction to FCT instead of multiplicative reduction.
